| Environmental Fate | the organic matter and clay content of soil seem to affect the herbicidal activity of
pebulate. Under conditions where pebulate was applied to dry soil without incorporation, its
activity persisted for 1 or 2 months. The loss of pebulate from wet soil is related to the amt of
moisture loss and is correlated to the amt of soil organic matter.
TERRESTRIAL FATE: AT RECOMMENDED RATES OF APPLICATION, PEBULATE
DOES NOT PERSIST IN SOIL & IT SHOULD NOT LEAVE RESIDUES THAT COULD
INJURE SUBSEQUENTLY PLANTED SENSITIVE CROPS. T/2 IN MOIST LOAM SOIL @
70-80 DEG F IS APPROX 2 WK.
