Environmental Fate TERRESTRIAL FATE: STUDY OF DEGRADATION OF TRICHLORONATE FROM SOIL IN LAB & OUTDOOOR EXPT BY GLC. DEGRADATION IN LAB OF 2 SAMPLES OCCURRED IN 108 & 177 DAYS. DEGRADATION CURVE WAS VIRTUALLY LINEAR. CURVES FOR OUTDOOR EXPT WERE NOT LINEAR BUT RESULTS WERE SIMILAR. AVG DEGRADATION VALUE WAS 141 DAYS. TERRESTRIAL FATE: 6 MO AFTER AREAL APPLICATION OF 3 KG AI/HA, RESIDUES RANGED FROM 0.2-0.68 MG/KG IN SOIL & CROP SAMPLES. THE NEXT YR AFTER APPLICATION (IE AFTER 18 MO), RESIDUES WERE PRESENT JUST AS NEGLIGIBLE AMT. 1ST CROP CONTAINED 0.02-0.3 MG & SUBSEQUENT CROPS LESS THAN 0.02-0.05 MG/KG.
