How to make homemade liquid shampoo?
Whether to save money or for the sake of the environment, it can be interesting to make your own body care products, including shampoo. There are several homemade shampoo recipes, using natural ingredients and easily available in stores.

1. Homemade Marseille soap shampoo
Here is a recipe for normal or oily hair, using Marseille soap:
- 300 ml infusion of nettle leaves
- 6 tablespoons grated Marseille soap
- 1 tablespoon vegetable glycerin
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 4 drops of lavender essential oil
In a saucepan, melt the Marseille soap in the nettle infusion over low heat. Remove from the heat and add the glycerin, coconut oil and lavender essential oil. Stir well, and let cool before pouring everything into a clean, dry jar or bottle.

2. Homemade clay shampoo
Green clay or white clay can be used in both dry shampoo and liquid shampoo. Clay is also recommended for those with oily hair.
For a dry shampoo, just sprinkle it on the hair and then brush the hair well.
For a liquid clay shampoo here is an easy recipe:
- 2 tablespoons of green clay penny of white clay
- 5 drops of lavender essential oil or your choice
- 250ml hot water
Dilute the clay well in water and apply the shampoo to damp hair, massaging well. Leave on for 2 minutes and rinse the hair thoroughly.

3. A homemade castor oil shampoo

- One part castor oil
- Part of olive oil
- An equivalent volume of honey
