Many talk about baking salt dough in the oven, but it’s not always necessary. So what to do, do we bake the dough in the oven or in the open air?
Dry your salt dough in the open air:
If you are not in a hurry, it is possible to let your salt dough object dry directly in the open air. The downside is that it takes a lot of drying days, so your child will have to be patient… Very patient! 😉
Dry your salt dough in the oven:
For quick drying of the salt dough, baking in the oven is the solution. You can set the cooking of the dough to a temperature of 200°F, no more, no less.
Depending on the size of your work of art, cooking the salt dough will take between 4 and 6 hours.
