- Echinacea: dilute 50 drops of echinacea tincture in a glass of water, and make a mouthwash. You can then swallow the solution. Repeat this treatment 3 times a day.
Natural antibiotic recipe for gum disease
If you suffer from a gum infection, try this recipe to use after brushing your teeth:
- 1 drop of clove essential oil
- 1 drop of bay laurel essential oil
- 1 drop of lavender essential oil
- 3 drops of St. John’s wort essential oil
- 1 tablespoon of organic virgin coconut oil at room temperature (so that it is in liquid form)
Mix the ingredients well, and make a mouthwash for 10 minutes, making sure to work the solution well between your teeth. Spit it out, but don’t rinse your mouth out. Do this treatment at least once a day, after brushing and flossing.
